NEW CLASS
This
course gives students an opportunity to strengthen their powers of observation
by concentrating on more finished academic figure drawings and paintings.
Emphasis will be on the methods of the Russian and French academies. The poses
will extend over several sessions. A step by step plan will enable everyone to
successfully execute well-balanced and proportionally accurate drawings. The
topics include: "How to measure academic proportions relative to the plumb line
and horizon line. "How to separate light and shadow and develop the various
transitions between them." Basic anatomical structure as a useful tool for
creating good drawings. [click here
