Rob Colvin is a painter and art writer in New York. He has written for Art Papers, Hyperallergic, Dwell, Brooklyn Rail, Art Critical, Burnaway, and other publications, including exhibition catalogues. He has taught courses in painting, drawing, and writing. In addition to a degree in Philosophy & Religion, he holds a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the University of New Hampshire.
