Jenny Saville

Saville received her degree at Glasgow School of Art and subsequently studied at the University of Cincinnati and the Slade School of Art in London. In 1993 she debuted with a solo show at the Cooling Gallery in London, followed by appearing in group shows “Young British Artists III” at the Saatchi Gallery in 1994 and “Sensation” at the Royal Academy of Art in 1997. Since then, she has had solo shows at Gagosian Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Roma (Rome) and appeared in group shows at the Denver Art Museum, the National Portrait Gallery (London), the Saatchi Gallery (London), the Venice Biennale, the National Museum of Scotland, the Yale Center for British Art, and the Brooklyn Museum. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Broad Museum in Los Angeles, and the Charles Saatchi Collection. She is represented by Gagosian Gallery.
