- June 12 - 16 Artwork delivered directly to Flowers (if hand-delivered, works will only be accepted 10am - 6pm
- June 21 Opening Reception at Flowers (6 - 8pm)
- July 28 Exhibition closes
- August 2 - 7 Pickup / Return of work from Flowers (10am - 6pm, gallery CLOSED Sunday and Monday)

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all current students, alumni, and faculty of the New York Academy of Art's MFA program. All artwork must be original, completed in the last 3 years and must be available for purchase.
MEDIA / SPECIFICATIONS
- Paintings, drawings, unique prints and sculpture are eligible
- Each 2D work and the base of each 3D work can be no larger than 30 x 30 inches
- Each artist may submit up to three entries
- Artists must state the final sale price upon submission
NOTE: prices and/or size of works may be taken into consideration by the jury if deemed excessive for this exhibition.
PRESENTATION
Accepted artworks must be ready to hang for formal gallery presentation as well as withstand rigors of packaged shipment. Three-dimensional works should arrive with the appropriate pedestal.
ENTRIES
- The deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 29, 2012 (5pm EST).
- Submissions will be accepted online only; any submitted work which differs from the digital entry guidelines below may be disqualified.
- All works must be in .jpg format.
- File names for each jpeg must be named exactly as follows:
Lastname_Firstname_Titleofwork.jpg (e.g. Elbers_Heidi_Untitled.jpg)
- If second views of a work are submitted, the file names must be named:
Lastname_Firstname_TitleofworkDETAIL.jpg
- Files must be 72 dpi and no more than 550 pixels on its largest side. Click on "Prepare Your Images below for the widget that allows you to check if your images fit the required dimensions.

EXHIBITION
- SUMMER EXHIBITION 2012 opens June 21, 2012, and continues through July 28, 2012.
- All accepted works must remain on view at Flowers until the close of the exhibition.
DELIVERY of ACCEPTED WORKS
- Mailed work and hand deliveries must arrive between June 12 – 16, 2012.
- C.O.D. deliveries will not be accepted.
- Accepted works being shipped must include a Prepaid Return Shipping Label.
- Late or damaged shipments will not be received.
- Works must be shipped in reusable packing cartons.
- NO PACKING POPCORN.
- If delivering by hand, please do so between 10am - 6pm.

RETURN of ACCEPTED WORKS
- Return of artwork begins: August 2
- Pick-up from Flowers: August 2 - 7 (10am - 6pm, CLOSED SUNDAY and MONDAY)
LIABILITY
All reasonable care will be given to objects in the custody of Flowers. Works are insured while on exhibition at Flowers. The New York Academy of Art and Flowers cannot assume responsibility for possible loss in transit or damage or deterioration incurred before the exhibition, or after if not removed/picked up as stated above.
SALES / REPRODUCTION
Artists will receive 40% of the sale price, Flowers will receive 35%, and the New York Academy of Art will receive 25% in support of scholarships, public programs and administrative costs. The Exhibition Committee and Flowers reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries in all exhibition and promotional material including press releases, catalog, and web site.
