I am a figurative artist whose work focuses on the investigation of bodily form. With gestural, decisive mark-making and energetic color, I use nuances of pose and expression to pursue themes of tension and sensation. I avoid polish in favor of a raw approach that allows the viewer to see into the process of exploration and accumulation that makes up my practice.
