My painting practice dissects themes of Americana, investigating how landscape and region influence the body and self. I pull from my appreciation of the natural world and my intrigue in the human experience. The stylization of obscuring the body and the space it exists in, grounded yet otherworldly, is to blur the lines between reality and the metaphysical.
