Noise Cancellation Headphones is a self-portrait that highlights a mundane moment in my room and explores my psyche. It invites the viewer into my own personal space where I’m disassociated from everything happening outside of me. Experimentation with visual elements like translucency, motion, and repetition of the figure show a passage of time in the moment. Collectively, these elements create narrative expressing the complexities within my relationship with myself.
