The Girl With no Hands, 2025, oil on canvas, 40 x 30 inches

I inhabit a narrative painting realm in which experiences of neurodivergent womanhood become illustrated lore. With subjects ranging from beasts to archetypes, I see my work as encounters with “otherness” and the language of mythology as a reflection of the myths, misconceptions, and social challenges of the neurodivergent mind. My role of storyteller is inextricable with painting, so I richly layer these retellings with references to Germanic fairytales, Celtic folklore, and parables from my upbringing.
