Artist in Residence Program in Carrara
During the summer of 2014 Joshua Henderson (MFA 2015) and Heena Kim (MFA 2014) participated in the Carrara Merit Award Artist-in-Residence Program located in Carrara, Italy. The Carrara Merit Award Residency has been made possible by ABC STONE and the Oriano Galloni Foundation, with support from ABC Stone founder Jonathan Tibett and artists Oriano Galloni and Stephen Shaheen.

Artist in Residence Program in Mexico
Eric Pedersen (MFA 2015) participated in the Belle Artes Residency Artist-in-Residence Program in Mexico City, Mexico in the summers of 2014. The Bellas Artes Residency is made possible by the generous support of Stephen Henderson and James LaForce.

Artist in Residence Program in Giverny
During the summer of 2014 Elisabeth McBrien (MFA 2014), Max Perkins (MFA 2015), Nava Gidanian-Kagan (MFA 2015) and Nicholas Gebhart (MFA 2015) participated in a two-week Artist-in-Residence Program at the Terra Foundation for American Art-Europe. The foundation is located in the village of Giverny, France, next to Monet’s house and gardens. Each Giverny residency recipient also received an additional travel stipend from the Jason Talley (MFA 2008) Scholarship Fund. The Academy’s Giverny Residency Program is made possible by the New York Academy Travel Fund, the Villore Foundation.
