I am drawn to unseen objects, assemblages, and moments that carry a magical loneliness to them. These unseen objects find themselves together in forgotten spaces over time. The spaces and the objects themselves are heavy with felt presence. Through painting and drawing, I aim to recreate the history of the unseen objects congregating to form unplanned still lives. The process of layering paint builds history in a way that mirrors the lineage of the human actions that subconsciously created the assemblages. The paintings depict intimate cinematic moments and interactions between the objects.
