The New York Academy of Art has returned its annual Drawing Marathon, this time in Chicago on Saturday & Sunday, March 5 & 6 from 12pm-8pm & 12pm-5pm. For 8 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday, we’ll have live figure models posing at 36Squared in the Central Manufacturing District, alongside Academy faculty offering tips and portfolio reviews. Open to all interested art students – bring your own paints, pencils and gear, we’ll provide easels, models and snacks.
Director of Anatomy and Drawing Michael Grimaldi and Provost Peter Drake will be giving demonstrations and offering portfolio reviews. The event is free and open to students above age 18. Register to attend using the form below. For more information please email admissions@nyaa.edu
