Dennis Cheaney is a classical realist artist with a particular interest in observational painting.  Dennis’ work emphasizes structure, color and design. He received his MFA from the New York Academy of Art (1998) and additionally studied with Ted Seth Jacobs in France. Dennis has exhibited throughout the United States and has received several awards including the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant for figure painting. Dennis lives in New York City where he pursues his own work and teaches.
