Forster was born in Boston and grew up in central Florida. He studied at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy and received his MFA from the New York Academy of Art. He is Co-Director of the Long Island Academy of Fine Art and teaches painting at the New York Academy of Art. Forster’s paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows nationally and internationally. He is currently represented by Island Weiss Gallery (New York) and Grenning Gallery (Sag Harbor).
