I began my thesis with interior scenes that related to daily life, with a whimsical aspect. I was using architecture to convey narratives. These narratives are meant to be dreamlike in that they distort parts of reality to create a new world. It is a series that is ongoing and developing.  Because of the studio limitations of the past four months, I have been working on a graphic novel that is based on my experience as an artist and working in my family funeral business during the pandemic. I have been using elements from previous work to composite pages. It is still in progress, with additional pages not shown here, but I hope to print it in its entirety when it is finished. I plan to continue expanding on this idea of showing single scene imagery alongside sequential images and stories.
