Lisbeth McCoy, a gifted Danish-American artist, attended the New York Academy of Art from 2008-2010. A multi-media artist most committed to sculpture, she died at a vibrant time in her career, both in her personal exploration and international recognition. Her artistic practice extended into all areas of her life including her interests in dance, rhythm, nature, and interiors. Lisbeth’s work drew the viewer in, often quite literally to a three dimensional space. This scholarship is to support a young artist at a crucial time in their artistic growth.
