I have been pouring my whole being into my artwork so that I can get across these manifested hidden gems and feel confident that someone will want to spend the time to sit and look beyond the picture plane. The pieces should not need to be explained; rather they should intrigue the viewer to keep wondering why they came about and what made them come into existence. I am creating artifacts that people can expand on and try to create a world of their own and find the intention of why they are here. Since art feels so chaotic in the postmodern scene, I am latching onto any sort of techniques or rules that simplify our understanding of visual language, and doesn’t force the viewer or artist to take a leap of blind faith to grasp the work. Life is about intention and searching for the meaning of why we fabricate what we do. It is the scientific process of art, where you need some sort of repeatability in order to make a series, and the artist successful. I have been gravitating towards Albertism and renaissance compositions for this reason. The geometric patterns and the incredible tool of perspective have allowed me to create fantastic worlds that have a solid nature to them. Only when these rules have been digested can they be broken and expanded on to construct the best work possible.
