Robert Armetta is a painter who has studied in the US and Italy, and holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. He has exhibited at venues including the National Academy of Design, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Sotheby’s, SUNY Farmingdale, and Messiah College. His work has been featured in numerous books, including the Figure: Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture and Lesson in Classical Drawing and Portrait Painting Atelier. He teaches drawing, painting, and artistic anatomy at the New York Academy of Art and divides his time between Brooklyn, NY and Harrisburg, PA.
